C³ is a lamp that turns on and off depending on the weather in particular city. It is controlled by speech: person opens the browser, says any city name and if at the moment the sky in that particular city is clear the lamp turns on, if it is cloudy – it turns off.
The hardware part consists of Arduino Uno, Troyka Shield, 3 LEDs and a USB cable. It is all hidden in a cube made of semi-transparent white plastic with magnets on top to keep the lid secure.
The software consists of Arduino, Processing and Google Chrome. Speech control is handled by Speech to Text library for Processing.
The accompanying publication contains comprehensible instructions that makes it easy to use the lamp.
